Marcin Polak – Photoperformance

Fictional stories made up on facts based in the history of Sokolovsko. Staged and performend in the local settings. The artists participating in the Festival will plaid the parts of the famous historical figures of Sokolovsko. The work is being realised together with the people of Sokolovsko.

Marcin Polak (born 1973) is a graduate of photographs at the PWSFTViT in Łódz. The artist created series of actions revitalizing public space and social Łódz, such as: LipowaOdNowa, Punkt dla Łodzi, Miej Miejsce and Ratujmy Łódzkie Murale. In his artistic projects he addresses important social and political issues, he attempts to begin the dialogue between society and public institution an elites.
