Blerta Hashani

Blerta Hashani (b. 1997, Mirash, Kosova) is a visual artist working in painting, drawing, and photography. She graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts in Prishtina and lives in the village of Mirash. Her paintings, often on jute, draw from classical landscape traditions but focus on intimate views of the nature around. Using minimal brushstrokes, lines, and layers of translucent paint, she explores volumes, contours, atmospheres, and light. Horizon lines offer orientation while inviting imagination. Recent shows include “MEMORIZONIM” (Prishtina), “Silent Threads Resounding Kosova” (Paris), and “A Story upon the Green” (Mirash). She has participated in residencies in Sweden and Switzerland and is represented by LambdaLambdaLambda.
