Przemysław Wielgosz

Przemysław Wielgosz – essayist, publisher, and curator. Editor-in-chief of the Polish edition of Le Monde diplomatique. At RM Publishing, he is the editor of the Ludowa Historia Polski (People’s History of Poland) series. He has published in Wiadomości Kulturalne, Przekrój, Pismo, Dwutygodnik, Znak, The Guardian, Aspen Review, and Freitag, among others. He is the author of books such as Opium globalizacji (2004), Welcome to Harder Times (2020) and Race Games: How Capitalism Divides to Rule (2021), nominated for the 2022 Nike Literary Award. He has curated, among others, the series Economies of the Future at the Warsaw Biennale and The People’s History of Poland at Strefa Wolnosłowa. He currently runs the series Transformations: An Unnatural History of Environmental Crises with Strefa.
